Today in Yellowstone we have seen many animals and can update our list! We saw: lots of elk, a coyote, four BUFFALO!, three bald eagles, and two sand hill cranes. Also, I have been corrected. Amy, the local wildlife expert who spotted every single animal today and had to point them out to me like a two year old, says that we have not seen pronghorn, just mule deer. This is pretty disappointing but we’re keeping our eyes out now that we know better what they look like. And, finally, even though we didn’t SEE them, last night we heard a moose and this morning we heard a coyote or two. That was a pretty big tease, hearing a moose after I spent the whole day LOOKING for him.. Oh well, we were lucky to see as many other animals as we did! My moose will just have to wait.
