Today we are feeling a little road weary. I think that’s fair since it’s day eight. There is no way that Idaho could have compared with Wyoming and it really hasn’t. There have been a few nice views in some low mountains. They were interesting because they appeared to have dents in them, almost like golf balls but in a mountain shape! We also drove through Crater of the Moon. Lava shot through cracks in the earth and formed what looks like fields full of black rocks. With the surrounding mountains it made for something new to look at, but that was the height of our interest today. So, we push on, as deep into Oregon as we can make ourselves go today so that tomorrow when we finally reach the Pacific coast, we will have some time to explore and enjoy!
