Yesterday Rich had to go off to work in the morning. When he came back, we went apartment hunting. Renting a house was not going well. The ones we could afford were really not big enough or very nice. So we switched into gear to look at apartment complexes. We found three that sounded promising and, sure enough, we picked one!
Today was about signing a lease for our apartment and getting some furniture to put in it. We found a good place yesterday and went back today to sign a six month lease. The walls are painted tan and brown. We will have a reasonably large living space (although we bought a pretty large couch today that will fill it up!), a fireplace, a decent sized kitchen and two beds and two baths (so you CAN come visit us!) :o) Here are some pictures. This evening we will begin researching cars and I'm still looking for jobs. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Here is the view of the snow capped Olympic mountains that we see as we drive into the complex. It's actually much more impressive in person but the camera never sees things quite as close up as we do! The second picture is our building.
