An addendum to July 5th

Just an addendum to yesterday’s news: I forgot to mention that we got in later than we planned and, between the bugs and corn palace (which we finally read up on and only the murals are made of corn and they are changed out every year), we decided not to cook out. Rich said “Well, we’re in South Dakota, I think we have to have steak.” I hadn’t really thought about it but I immediately agreed. We went to a place called Chef Louis in an area where I wanted the car parked where we could see it the whole time. To add to my concern, once we got closer we saw that Chef Louis didn’t even have any windows except for the two front ones which were tinted. I did not know what to expect as we crossed into the lobby. We got inside and it was beautiful! It was sort of a fine dining experience, not what we were planning. I was wearing terry cloth pants, for heaven’s sake! Rich ordered the filet minon and I ordered a ribeye. Wow, was that a good decision! Those steaks were SO good! The images didn’t get uploaded properly last time so here are a few South Dakota images. Also, sorry for posting that same thing twice. The internet was giving me all kinds of troubles and I didn't realize it was already up!
